Do I need a USCG or North Carolina certification to rent?

Maybe, anyone born after Jan 1, 1988 requires a North Carolina Boater Safety Course.  Click NCWildlife.org for more information.  We do however require ALL RENTERS watch the power boat safety training videos at rentalboatsafety.com before rental.

Does the rental come with insurance?

Yes, every rental comes with a BoatUS liability policy for the duration of the rental.

What is your policy for bad weather?

Full and pro-rated refunds are given based on weather and usage.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Credit card payments are made online at the time of booking.

Who pays for fuel?

The renter is required to refuel the boat before post rental inspection.

Are pets allowed?

Well behaved dogs are allowed on the boat with a $50 non refundable fee.
